Mothering Rooms

In Mississippi, mothers have the right to breastfeed in any public or private location in which they are legally allowed to be. At Mississippi State, we support working mothers and are dedicated to providing safe and comfortable spaces for lactation.   • Allen Hall - Room 445
  • Bost Extension Center - Room 102-A
    (past the office of Agricultural Communications)
  • Colvard Student Union - Room 226
    (access key from Reservations Desk on the 2nd floor or by registered ID)
  • Cullis Wade Depot/Welcome Center - Room 2103
    (2nd floor, access key from receptionist on first floor or by registered ID)
  • Franklin Center - Room 201
    (access key from room 205)
  • Humphrey Coliseum - Room 309
  • Lloyd Ricks Watson - Room 263
    (access key from 120)
  • Memorial Hall - Room 113
    (open weekdays 7am – 5:30pm, game days from 7am – 11pm)
  • Mitchell Memorial Library - Room 3203
  • The Wise Center - Room L3017
    (located in the library, access key at front desk)
  • Thompson Hall - Room 110B
    (access key from desk in room 110)
  • YMCA Building - Room 1230
    (enter through first floor women’s restroom)
  • These rooms will be available from:
    8 am – 5 pm, Monday-Friday
    excluding special events and holidays

The Colvard Student Union, Memorial Hall, and the Cullis Wade Depot/Welcome Center will be available during most game day events on campus.
